Sanford weds Bast in Lincoln

Michelle Lianne Sanford of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and Shane Joseph Bast of Meadow Vista were married Sept. 23, 2006 at Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln by Pastor Jeff Alaways.The bride graduated from Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo. and University of Nevada, Reno.She is a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society.Her parents are Richard and Joan Sanford of Highlands Ranch, Colo.The groom graduated from Colfax High School. He is self-employed. He is a member of Native Sons of the golden West.His parents are Mike and Dee Ann Bast of Meadow Vista. The bride's honor attendant was Stephanie Cerritelli of Highlands Ranch.Bridesmaids were Kari Bast of Meadow Vista, Alisa Bass of Auburn, Kim Lawson of Sacramento, Pam Schlagel of Levine, Ariz., and Erika Frick of Fernley, Nev.The best man was Ryan Bast (brother) of Auburn.Groomsmen-ushers were Steve Bast of Applegate, Chris Orenchuk of Meadow Vista, Collin Sanford of Highlands Ranch, Matt Slusher of Applegate and Justin Frisk of Fernley, Nev.The flower girl was Chezney Wosick of Milford.The ring-bearer was Levi Wosick of Milford.Music was "Canon in D," "The Wedding March," "Just Like Heaven" (processional).A reception was held at Orchard Creek Lodge in Lincoln.Special guests included Ed and Susan Justice of Arcadia.The couple honeymooned at St. Lucia in the Caribbean and they now live in Fernley, Nev.
