Express Employment Professionals Announce Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners

Express Employment Professionals announced the three winners of their 1st Pumpkin Decorating Contest. First place goes to the SPCA, who created a beautiful hand-painted animal scene on their pumpkin; second place has been awarded to Green Acres for creating a "Cinderella" coach and third place goes to Addison Avenue for their creation of a "Mike Wazowski" from the movie Monsters Inc.More than 30 local businesses participated in the pumpkin decorating contest, which featured pumpkins decorated as Ronald McDonald, a piggy bank, a black cat that meowed and "Pumpkahontas." Sutter Roseville Medical Center, which hosted the pumpkins, displayed the decorative pumpkins in the lobby where voting ballots were available to the public to choose their favorites. Pumpkin contest winners received prizes ranging from pizza parties to donut parties to movie passes.
