Frank E. BianchiLong-time Roseville resident Frank E. Bianchi died Sept. 11, 2001. He was 88 years old.Born on May 27, 1913, in Alta, he lived in Lincoln as a small child, but moved to Roseville in 1918 at the age of 5 and spent the rest of his life there.Mr. Bianchi was a decorated World War II veteran who served in the European Theater.He enjoyed a successful career with Caddel Chevrolet, earning Hall of Fame and Legion of Leaders awards from the Chevrolet Motor Division for more than 20 years of service.He retired in 1991 to pursue his love of gardening.A devoted family man, Mr. Bianchi is survived by wife Helga Bianchi; sons Tony Bianchi of Roseville and Eric Bianchi of Sacramento; and grandson Nicholas Bianchi of Trinidad, Calif.A memorial mass service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in Roseville?s St. Rose Catholic Church.Mr. Bianchi?s family is asking that remembrances be made to the Parkinson?s Disease Foundation.Cochrane?s Chapel of the Roses in Roseville is handling arrangements.Mary Louella CarneyMary Louella Carney died in Auburn Sept. 12, 2001. She was 81 years old.Born on April 28, 1920, in Meridian, Mrs. Carney was a homemaker who lived in Auburn for 10 years and Grass Valley for 30 years.She was a member and past worthy matron in the Aurora Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.Survivors include son and spouse Jim and Roxanne Carney of Auburn; daughter Charlene Soares of Merced; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.Mrs. Carney was preceded in death by husband William ?Bill? Carney; son Richard Carney; five brothers and three sisters.Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, in Meridian Cemetery.Ullrey Memorial Chapel of Yuba City is handling arrangements.Mrs. Carney?s family is asking that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer?s Foundation, P.O. Box 1824, Sacramento, CA 95812 or to the SPCA, 745 Sutter St., Yuba City, CA 95991.
