Donald GreenDonald ?Don? Ray Green died suddenly on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital. He was 64. Born Sept. 23, 1938, in Murphysboro, Ill., Mr. Green was a resident of Auburn for several years and was a member of the Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association, Branch. 13. He was a lifelong auto mechanic until his retirement in November 2000. For many years he was an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Santa Cruz.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joyce (Joy); their three sons, Kevin Green of Applegate, and Brian Green and Shawn Green, both of Auburn; brothers, Bill Green of Umatilla, Fla.; Bob Green of Washington, Ill., and John Green of Kingsport, Tenn.; nieces, nephews and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at 9885 Michelle Drive, Auburn. Elizabeth Tuggle Elizabeth Tuggle of Auburn died Thursday, July 24, 2003, in Lake of the Pines. She was 71. Born Oct. 17, 1931, in Rockmart, Ga., to Raliegh and Lillian Spinks, she was a homemaker and a member of various clubs at Lake of the Pines. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ray Tuggle; sister, Hazel Woodin; brother, Clifford Spinks; children Phil Tuggle, Patti Hornor and Barry Tuggle; and five grandchildren.
