Octuplet mom shops her kids

Online comments on "What was octuplet mom thinking?" column slammed Nadya Suleman for birthing14 in-vitro-fertilized kids under the age of seven. More than one said she should be sent back to Iran -- even though Suleman is American born. Other recommendations included sterilization and lobotomy for the mom and foster homes for the children.But Ms. Suleman is invigorated by public outrage and has reportedly been paid big moolah for interviews with tabloids. A British rag leads with: 'The mum of the world's first surviving octuplets says it is more than eight years since she had sex." Now that's something to clip out and paste in the kiddies' baby book!Ambulance-chaser Gloria Allred admits to "quietly" filing a complaint with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and requested an investigation into whether Suleman's children would be in danger if left in her care.Allred hopes Suleman will accept an offer made by her and Linda West-Conforti, founder of the nonprofit Angels in Waiting. AIW is offering free housing and comprehensive medical and emotional services round the clock to the Suleman family for at least six months.As of this writing, food stamp lady with a biz-ness plan has not responded to their generosity. Allegedly, Suleman is shopping for a pricey million dollar home and buying $14.50 plus tax lip gloss at Nordstrom. If she is a qualified home buyer, the check for exclusive rights to octuplets' photos is probably in her French-manicured hands. And don't forget a book, maybe a movie, speaking engagements and howza 'bout a reality show? Sadly, mom with brood has a right to shop till she drops all of her children's privacy. Suleman admits she met her sperm donor, David Solomon, in a nightclub and went to the movies with him once before deciding she didn't want him as a boyfriend but rather to give her children. Ain't it a beautiful love story?The good news is Suleman says, "I'm done having children now. My family is complete and I would not change anything."Of course, she's still passing the plate for financial help: "If anyone wants to donate, it would be for resources for the kids. I can accept that…But I am not in it for the money. Any money is going into a trust for the kids." And who, oh, who, would be the trustworthy person to oversee the trust?Nadya's father Ed Doud/Suleman allegedly says in a taped interview with Oprah Winfrey (hasn't aired at this writing) that while the actions of his daughter and doctor were "absolutely irresponsible, do not punish the babies, because they were given by God."And that brings to mind, where is Dr. Michael M. KIamrava who implanted all of those embryos???
