Roger M. Zanotto 9/4/1939 - 4/13/2020

Roger M. Zanotto, 80, born 9-4-39 in Hilt, CA to Francesco and Elena Zanotto. Roger passed away in his sleep the day after Easter, 4-13-20.Roger worked for Norwich Pharma. for 16 years, a career which brought him to the Great State of Texas. In 1984 he and his family returned to Auburn, where Roger and Anita operated their own business, Goodyear Tire until 2001. Roger was an avid automotive enthusiast; owning and restoring classic cars over the years. He was a charter member of the Auburn Corvette Club, a member of the Sacramento T-Bird club, and active Rotarian for years. He also loved to tinker in his garden, was a lover of animals, in particular his dogs who were considered family to him. Roger is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita and his three daughters Michelle (John) DiStasio, Tania Walden and Tristine Zanotto. He had seven grandchildren: Derrick Welsh, Rachae (Joe) Vila, Jessica Perkins, Anthony DiStasio, Christopher and Jennifer Walden, Laurel Carco, and great grandchild, JJ Vila. Family services will be held in his final resting place, Mount Shasta, CA, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimer's Disease Research.
