Kansas, Reno men arrested on drug, firearm charges; ID theft; sheet metal stolen; more

May 18 A 54-year-old Roseville resident reported a burglary in the 9400 block of Atkinson Street. A total loss of $500 was reported. A 21-year-old Auburn resident reported a burglary in the 1400 block of Highway 49. A stereo system was stolen from his vehicle. May 20 Jason Demetrius Johnson, a 35-year-old Reno, Nevada, transient, and Tremayne Montague Darkis, 41, of Parson, Kansas, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, transportation of meth for sale, possession of meth for sale, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, committing a felony while out on bail and possession of a loaded firearm while under the influence. Johnson was also charged on suspicion of driving under the influence. The arrests followed a traffic stop in the eastbound Interstate 80 and Bell Road area of Auburn. An attempted burglary was reported in the 3600 block of Industrial Boulevard in Roseville. A warehouse door was damaged from an attempted forced entry. Entry was not made, and no items were stolen. A total of $400 in damages was reported. A 41-year-old Auburn resident reported a burglary in the 3600 block of Sapphire Drive in Auburn. An unknown individual forcefully entered his vehicle, stole miscellaneous items and keyed the vehicle, causing thousands of dollars in damage. A total loss of $5,860 was reported. A 44-year-old Fair Oaks resident reported a burglary in the 3900 block of PFE Road in Roseville. The front door of his vacant home had been forced open. No items were stolen. May 21 Corey Ray Reese, 33, of Antioch and Savannah Tia Vetterli, 25, of Antioch were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and identity theft of 10 or more people. The arrests followed a traffic stop in the Interstate 80 and Sierra College Boulevard area of Rocklin. May 22 Sierra Skye Truscott, 23, of Elk Grove was arrested on suspicion of battery and public intoxication in the 5200 block of Cavitt Stallman Road in Granite Bay. A 37-year-old Auburn resident reported a theft in the 1000 block of Collins Drive in Auburn. Two unknown individuals stole $10,000 worth of cut sheet metal. A 76-year-old Alta resident reported a burglary in the 33700 block of Nary Road. An unknown individual pried open multiple mailboxes. Mail was later found along the roadway. May 23 Mustafa Anan Liddawi, 35, of Rocklin was cited on suspicion of meth possession and drug paraphernalia possession. The citation followed a traffic stop in the English Colony Way and Yego Road area of Penryn. Three Auburn residents reported vehicle burglaries. Two residents had backpacks stolen, and the third resident's makeup bag was stolen. The makeup bag was recovered in the 12300 block of Krista Lane. A 42-year-old Roseville resident reported a burglary in the 9200 block of Walerga Road. Her purse was stolen from her vehicle. Her debit card was later used at a Walmart in Citrus Heights. May 24 Dean Michael Magnusen, a 41-year-old Foresthill transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of suspected meth. The arrest followed a traffic stop in the Foresthill Road and Isabell Lane area in Foresthill. Keenan Micheal Knorr, a 44-year-old Auburn transient, was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin, meth and drug paraphernalia in the 11800 block of Kemper Road.
