Teresa Day 1957 - 2020

Teresa Day passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2020, with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother.Teresa is survived by her beloved sons and their wives, and she will be lovingly remembered by her first grandchild, born earlier this year. She also leaves behind her loving sisters, her brothers-in-law, as well as her nephews and nieces. Teresa will be greatly missed by all her cousins and friends spread all over the US and the world. Teresa waged a valiant 5-year battle with a Glioblastoma brain tumor and was proud to participate in clinical research that could help the advancement of treatments for others with the same diagnosis. Teresa's pioneering spirit and commitment to help others will be no surprise to those who knew her, evidenced by her early love of animals, the outdoors, backpacking, and world travel. She made friends all over the world because of her open heart, kindness, and compassion for others – especially those in need.2020 has been an extraordinary year for many reasons, so the family has decided to postpone a memorial for Teresa. We will be updating her Facebook page and will be providing further details. In the meantime, Teresa would want all of you who knew and loved her to create special time with your family, take a walk on the beach, or reach out to a friend or stranger in need.Teresa is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all.
