Standing with Richard Pearl

Richard Pearl – alluding to his last name – I consider a jewel to our city and so much more. He embodies integrity, civility, ethics and total honesty. His long-term commitment to Lincoln in terms of his volunteerism speaks to his superb qualifications. I believe he will be an excellent city treasurer. I have had the pleasure of working with him during the city's fiscal sustainability project where he was the chair. He has also served admirably as chair of the Economic Development Committee and the Airport Committee. I stand with Richard, confidently knowing his professional career was entirely in finance and that this experience will serve our community well. We are in challenging times and these times require a treasury leader who will assure that Lincoln's financial policies are carried out efficiently and that our financial investments are safe. We could not have a better steward of our financial policies who continually stands for and supports our community. Please join me in voting for Richard Pearl as city treasurer.
