Placer County Sheriff's arrest log: Sugary vandalism, Macy's credit card fraud, more

Oct. 22 Anthony John Gonzalez, a 49-year-old Auburn transient, was arrested on suspicion of battery on an officer/medical person and violation of post-release community supervision terms at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital in the 11800 block of Education Street in Auburn. The suspect is alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol and punched a hospital security guard in the face. A 50-year-old Grass Valley resident reported a burglary in the 2500 block of Grass Valley Highway in Auburn. The front passenger window of her vehicle was smashed and miscellaneous items were stolen. A loss of $70 was reported. Oct. 23 Agustin Ybarbo, 40, was arrested on suspicion of transportation of meth for sale, possession of meth for sale, possession of heroin for sale and transportation of heroin for sale. The arrest followed a traffic stop in the Placer Corporate Drive and Industrial Avenue area of Rocklin. Clayton Dean Peterson, 25, of Granite Bay was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a firearm in the 8200 block of Royall Oaks Drive in Granite Bay. Matthew David Dahl, 19, of Foresthill was arrested on suspicion of obstructing, resisting or delaying arrest. The arrest followed a report of an altercation in the 5800 block of Arrowhead Drive in Foresthill. Brienne Amber Rousseau, a 22-year-old Grass Valley transient, was arrested on suspicion of meth possession and for a felony warrant out of Nevada County in the W Weimar Cross Road and Interstate 80 area of Weimar. A 61-year-old Granite Bay resident reported his identity was stolen after an unknown individual obtained and used his personal information to open a Macy's American Express credit card. The individual then used the credit card at a Macy's in Manhattan Beach and purchased merchandise worth $7,454. Oct. 24 Shoplifting was reported at Target in the 2700 block of Bell Road in Auburn. An unknown male is reported to have stolen $859 worth of merchandise. A 32-year-old Sheridan resident reported vandalism in the 5600 block of 11th Street after sugar and chocolate were found in the fuel system of his vehicle. A loss of $399 was reported. Terry Hoffman, a 38-year-old Auburn transient, was arrested on suspicion of criminal threats, meth pipe possession and probation violation in the E Avenue and Second Street area of Auburn. The suspect is alleged to have threatened to stab another individual with a knife. A burglary was reported at Antelope Springs Church in the 4500 block of PFE Road in Roseville. An unknown individual broke into the church's storage shed and stole several airsoft guns, airsoft equipment and other items. A loss of $3,180 was reported. Oct. 25 Anthony Eugene Beare, 45, of Cool was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Target in the 2700 block of Bell Road in Auburn. The suspect is alleged to have ripped tags off of merchandise inside the store before passing out in the men's department with an empty bottle of Fireball. Sarah Kelley Moss, a 28-year-old Kings Beach transient, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. The arrest followed a report of a disturbance at a party in the 100 block of Ponderosa Way in Weimar. The suspect is alleged to have spat on a female who was five months pregnant, kicked vehicles on the property and challenged partygoers to a fight. Kevin Matthew Brock, 40, of Colfax was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of suspected heroin, Hydrocodone pills and Suboxone. Noah J. Bradley, a 39-year-old Auburn transient, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of suspected heroin. The arrests followed a traffic stop in the Luther Road area of Auburn. Oct. 26 Justena Danielle Sexton, a 19-year-old Auburn transient, was arrested on suspicion of resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer in the 11500 block of C Avenue in Auburn. The arrest followed a report of an individual swinging a long metal chain and hitting objects around the DeWitt campus. Ashton Cooper of Chico was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a firearm, false impersonation of another, reckless evading, carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, vandalism, felony possession of ammunition, possession of a stolen vehicle and obliteration of a firearm identification number. The arrest took place at Thunder Valley Casino outside Lincoln. A 52-year-old Granite Bay resident reported a theft in the 6500 block of Country Woods Lane. An unknown individual stole $2,500 worth of property from his vehicle at his residence. The individual then attempted to use his credit card at a 7-Eleven store. Two Penryn residents reported an attempted mail theft in the 6600 block of Butler Road. A cluster mailbox was pried open, though it is believed no mail was taken. A 35-year-old Roseville resident reported a theft in the 1200 block of Tinker Road. The catalytic converter, worth $750, was stolen from his vehicle.
