Placer County Sheriff's arrest log: Stolen vehicle, lawn equipment burglary

Jan. 26 A 64-year-old Lincoln resident reported a theft at Thunder Valley Casino outside Lincoln. Items were stolen from his vehicle, and his credit cards were later used for purchases. A loss of $200 was reported. Jan. 28 A 55-year-old Elverta resident reported a mail theft in the 10800 block of Browning Street after the mailman found his mail along the roadway earlier in the day. A theft was reported at Best Buy in the 1700 block of Grass Valley Highway in Auburn. One individual reportedly had a key and stole $630 in cash from the cash registers, while a second individual operated a black van. Deandre Dion Taylor, 30, of Stockton was arrested on suspicion of false impersonation, meth possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest followed a traffic stop in the Stanford Ranch Road and Fairway Drive area of Rocklin. A 77-year-old Auburn resident reported his identity was stolen after signatures were forged on his checks and a cash withdrawal on his bank account. Jan. 29 Gregory Holland, 37, of North Highlands was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle at Thunder Valley Casino. The suspect reportedly admitted to being in possession of the stolen vehicle and driving it to the casino. Matthew Todd Douglass, 33, of Roseville was arrested on suspicion of meth possession following a traffic stop in the Taylor Road and Circle Drive area of Loomis. A 29-year-old Auburn resident reported a theft in the 12100 block of Shale Ridge Lane. A gas mini bike that was secured to a pipe was stolen from the side of the building. The suspect's vehicle is described as a silver sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla. A loss of $379 was reported. A theft was reported in the 6600 block of Big Hill Road in Auburn. Equipment worth $6,000 was stolen from a work truck. A 49-year-old Loomis resident reported a theft in the 5800 block of Sparas Street. Tools were stolen from a vehicle. A 56-year-old Loomis resident reported a vehicle theft in the 5800 block of Sparas Street. His black 2017 Iron Eagle Magnum single-axle trailer, worth $5,700, was stolen. A 52-year-old Newcastle resident reported vandalism in the 5700 block of Horseshoe Bar Road in Loomis. Multiple vehicles were damaged. A loss of $600 was reported. A burglary was reported at Treelake Self Storage in the 9900 block of Hadleigh Drive in Granite Bay. Multiple travel and enclosed trailers were broken into and a small GPS was stolen from a RZR. The suspects attempted to steal the RZR as well but were unable to start it. A 54-year-old Loomis resident reported a theft in the 3500 block of Laird Street. Multiple pieces of property, worth $3,700, were stolen from his residence. A 62-year-old Loomis resident reported a burglary in the 3500 block of Sun Knoll Drive. A loss of $2,025 was reported. A 42-year-old Loomis resident reported a burglary in the 6200 block of Arcadia Avenue. A loss of $3,850 was reported. An 18-year-old Granite Bay resident reported her identity was stolen after an unknown individual used her Social Security number to open a bank account and receive EDD benefits. A 47-year-old Granite Bay resident reported being bilked out of $14,190 after an unknown individual used her debit card information to make purchases online and at locations in Southern California. A 60-year-old Auburn resident reported a burglary in the 100 block of Kellie Lane. Lawn care equipment, worth $1,000, was stolen from his vehicle.
