Gregory Garretson 1/19/1964 - 2/8/2021

Gregory Scott Garretson, 57, died February 8, 2021. His battle with serious medical conditions over the last few years did not change his kind and gentle personality and he left a positive impression on everyone he met. Greg was born in Redlands, CA on January 19, 1964 to Pete and Doris. He always told stories about exploring the orange groves and getting into trouble with his older brother. Greg met his wife, Traci, in Auburn, CA. Together they raised two daughters. He enjoyed camping and hiking in the Sierra Nevada's and even spent time hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. He loved to cook delicious meals for his family and passed the love of cooking to both his girls. He enjoyed spent time in his garden and orchard. He had a passion and talent for music, writing and playing his own original songs on the piano and guitar. He loved to spend time with his two granddaughters, who called him Abba, playing games, crafts and spending time outside. His calming presence and gentle strength will be missed by all who have known him. He is survived by his mother Doris, wife Traci, daughters Jessica and Alyx, and granddaughters Evie and Millie.A celebration of life has been postponed due to the pandemic and will be planned for the summer.
