Woman's Club of Lincoln hosts Spring Bazaar

The Woman's Club of Lincoln will host a Spring Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 27 at the Woman's Clubhouse at 455 E St., Lincoln. Vendors will set up indoors and outdoors. The vendor list so far includes desserts in a jar, caramel snacks, wreaths, Tupperware, charcuteries, shirts, cups, tile coasters, travel agents, LaLaRoe Clothing, and spring and Easter items. To participate as a vendor, call Vicki Reliford at 916-543-0294. Women of all ages, backgrounds and interests meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month for a social hour, business meeting and program. Members also give back to the community, including by sponsoring a high school scholarship program, helping with Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce events and maintaining the Woman's Clubhouse. "Our community reach also includes adopting seniors at an assisted living facility, helping with the monthly Bingo at the Lincoln Senior Center, Letters to Santa project, Toys for Tots and assisting Fieldhaven," said member Harriet Garland. The Woman's Clubhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic buildings and has been a part of Lincoln for more than 100 years. Over the years, residents have gathered in this building to hold service club meetings, business seminars, religious services and life celebrations.
