Carson James Ramsay 12/8/1999 - 3/13/2021

Carson is survived by his parents, Ken and Dolores, and his adoring older brother, Connor. Carson's birth on December 8, 1999, in Mountain View, CA, completed his tight-knit family of four. 2018 was the culmination of an idyllic childhood in Colfax, CA, when he graduated from our beloved Colfax High School. After graduation, Carson embarked on a path toward a Criminal Justice degree at Sierra College. With only one term remaining before he would advance to a four-year college, with the determination to fulfill his ultimate goal of becoming a US Federal Agent. His friends and family remember him as a quiet, funny young man who encouraged each of them to find their inner jokester and to smile often. Carson was an accomplished cook and often helped his mother teach cooking classes, to the delight of the attendees, many of whom were mothers who saw Carson as everything one would want in a son. He was known for creating his own recipes and regularly treating his family and friends to his delicious concoctions. He treasured his relationships with the same group of loyal friends since childhood, who were still an integral part of his daily life as an adult. They enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, fishing, hunting and, of course, playing video games and often just hanging out and talking. All would agree that Carson had an amazing sense of humor and always loved to provide zingers during conversations. What some may not know is that Carson was also passionate about politics and discussed openly the many freedom-inhibiting injustices occurring in the world today. Carson was dedicated to his animals and pets, ranging from the dog, cats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, rabbits, turtle, and goldfish; he had a unique and special relationship with every heartbeat -- another testament to his compassionate, loving spirit Funeral arrangements to be determined at a later date.
