Family very grateful to Gabriel Calixto

It rained for three days, and for three days, we looked around the neighborhood for our missing cat, Chip. On the fourth day we heard a familiar meow. We had been searching the ground but it never occurred to us to look up in the trees. We found Chip high in our neighbor's tree. We called for her but she wouldn't climb down. A young man named Gabriel, a friend of our granddaughter's, came up to the scene. He offered to climb the tall tree and get down our cat. He climbed and, after much coaxing on his part, Chip finally came to him. He was afraid to drop her but we told him that cats always land on their feet. We offered him a reward for his heroic efforts but he refused. It is very rate now days to see youth like him who will go out on a limb for other people. Let alone for a cat.
