George M. Gould, M.D.

George M. Gould, M.D., 78, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at his home in Auburn, CA from a recurrence of pancreatic cancer. Born in National City, CA to Clyde and Mildred Gould, he grew up in California and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He was a man of faith who served the Auburn community as a family physician for nearly four decades, a work he loved. Upon his initial cancer diagnosis, he retired at the age of 69 and found a new lease on life, traveling with his spouse Pat, sometimes with their dog Leo, and often with friends and family. In addition to travel he loved hiking, gardening, and reading. He is survived by his wife Pat Gould, his sister Deanna Paxton and her family, four children and their families which include six grandchildren. Cards may be sent to P.O.
