Michelle Cleo Bruce 5/8/1974 - 9/16/2021

Michelle was born in Heidelberg, Germany on May 8, 1974, as we were on our first overseas assignment with the US Army. From the day she was born she was a bright light in our life. Her smile, her laugh, and her happiness to be with family was incredible. She loved to travel and our moves gave her an opportunity to meet new people, travel to new places and enjoy life. Michelle was a graduate of Enterprise High School in Alabama, attended college at Humboldt State University, Sierra College and graduated from San Francisco State University. She later studied for a Masters in Forensic Investigations from the University of New Haven. She loved music and singing. She had an amazing voice we never tired of hearing. Karaoke and singing in the shower or being a member of a chorus or choir were her happy times. She had several jobs with Law Enforcement including Dispatch at Sacramento Sheriff, Autopsy Tech at San Mateo County Morgue, and finally settled in to her job with the San Francisco Police Department as a Police Services Aide, a job she really enjoyed. Michelle passed away at Sutter Roseville Hospital September 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grand parents, Robert and Mary Bruce, Johnny and Cleo DeRossett, her Uncle John Bruce and Aunt Patricia Hansen. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Kathy Bruce, her sister Breanne Koch and husband Mark, her nephew James Koch, and numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends, including many in Ireland. Our hearts are broken, she will be missed terribly. Our memories of her and the joy she gave us will be with us always.A "Celebration of Life" is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2021, 11:00AM at the Lincoln Veterans Memorial Hall, 541 5th Street, Lincoln, California.
