Marion Margaret Quinn

Marion Margaret Quinn (Olsen), 80, of Lincoln, California passed away on September 14th, 2021. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she graduated from Matignon High School and Mount Auburn Hospital School of Nursing. Marion is survived by her husband of 58 years, Russ; their three children: William, Michael, and Russell and Wife (Jenny); and 5 grandchildren: Alexandra, Lauren, Brody, Kiley, and Kiera. Marion is also survived by her sisters, Jean and Donna, and her nieces, Lisa, Chrisann, Julie, Michelle, Brenda and Amee. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret and her nephew Ted. After nursing school, Marion travelled to Hawaii, where she met Russ, who was a Marine stationed at Marine Corp Air Station Kaneohe Hawaii. They were later married in the old San Gabriel California Mission Church. For many years, Marion worked as an operating room nurse and then transitioned to case management. Active in her community, she will be remembered for her many kindnesses, such as driving neighbors to appointments, assisting with errands, making time for visits, and delivering meals.Marion was also a skilled potter, winning a number of local awards and sharing her creations with friends and family. She and Russ traveled all over the world, but Hawaii always remained their favorite destination. Marion will be missed by many. There will be a private internment.
