Placer County Sheriff's crime log: U-Haul dolly theft, gate battery theft, more

Dec. 5 A 46-year-old Roseville resident reported a burglary in the 9300 block of Eckerman Road after a Smith & Wesson .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun and a fire safe containing $160,000 in cash was stolen. Timofey P. Rybalko, 27, of Sacramento was cited on suspicion of possession of burglary tools, suspected meth possession and pipe possession in the 8300 block of Sierra College Boulevard in Granite Bay. A 26-year-old Granite Bay resident reported his identity was stolen after his information was used to open multiple accounts and cash checks totaling $7,555. The victim became aware of the theft after receiving collection letters. Charles Jacob Bockman, 31, of Auburn was cited on suspicion of meth pipe possession following a traffic stop for expired registration in the Bell Road and Musso Road area of Auburn. Dec. 6 A theft was reported at U-Haul in the 21000 block of Canyon Way in Weimar after a vehicle tow dolly was stolen. A loss of $8,000 was reported. Kemoni Elijah Joe Quan Tobin, 20, of Sacramento and Ivan Ryan Michael Pearce, 18, of North Highlands were arrested on suspicion of possession of an assault weapon and carrying a concealed firearm. Pearce was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and being a felon in possession of ammunition. The arrests followed a report of a suspicious vehicle with two individuals with an assault rifle in the 7600 block of Galilee Road in Roseville. A theft was reported in the 3500 block of Chamberlain Road in Lincoln after a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. A loss of $5,000 was reported. A 64-year-old Suisun City resident reported a theft at Thunder Valley Casino outside Lincoln after her purse was stolen from her vehicle. A loss of $400 was reported. Two Newcastle residents reported their identity was stolen after an unknown individual obtained the information of their shared debit card and made purchases totaling $9,094 on Amazon. Dec. 7 Jose Javier Leon, 43, of Sacramento was cited on suspicion of meth possession following a traffic stop in the Industrial Avenue and S Loop Road area of Rocklin. A 41-year-old Sheridan resident reported a theft in the 7200 block of Riosa Road after a battery attached to the front gate of her property was stolen. A loss of $180 was reported. Dec. 8 William Michael McKnight, 38, of Grass Valley was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The arrest followed a traffic stop for driving without lights during darkness in the Grass Valley Highway and Locksley Lane area of Auburn.
