Global activewear brand joins Lincoln community

When: Open to the public noon to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and by appointment Saturdays Info: bxav.shop or 916-705-8323 On March 1, Orangevale native Paul Pearcey relocated his businesses Bxactiv and Red Tag Collabs to a Lincoln warehouse at 110 Flocchini Circle, Unit 1. Up until March, Pearcey's warehouse was near his Orangevale home. At the end of 2021, Pearcey began looking for a bigger warehouse because his location was "too small" for his growing business. "I needed something that could benefit my needs," said Pearcey last week. "On a whim," Pearcey found his Lincoln 3,300-square-foot warehouse. "This (location in Lincoln) is perfect," Pearcey said. "There is retail space, there's an office. It has everything I need." According to Pearcey, "Everything is sold, assembled, and manufactured in the warehouse. But a lot of the custom Bxactiv pieces are made overseas in China and South Korea." Pearcey started his activewear brand, Bxactiv, in 2018. Bxactiv is short for "Be Active," centered around fitness and wellness. Becoming passionate about fitness and weight lifting in 2015, Pearcey said that he decided to start his own fitness brand to promote something he liked doing. The initial brand name was "Brothestics" for three years and revolved around "bros type stuff," according to Pearcey, in reference to weight-lifting and bodybuilding. The name was also derived from Pearcey's employment with the popular coffee chain, Dutch Bros Coffee. However, Pearcey discovered he didn't want his brand to target one specific gender but rather be an "all-around inclusive" brand. Since 2018, Bxactiv has become a global brand, shipping merchandise throughout the United States and all the way to Australia. Bxactiv has developed a social media following of more than 500,000 customers throughout the world. Bxactiv is most commonly known for its comfortable and soft T-shirts, leggings, men's jogging shorts, women's biker shorts and sports bras. This past January, Bxactiv launched its men's jogging pants in three colors. Customers can order Bxactiv products either online at bxav.shop or in person by visiting the Lincoln site at 110 Flocchini Circle, Unit 1 in Lincoln. Bxactiv is open to the public from noon to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and by appointment Saturdays. Pearcey also runs Red Tag Collabs, where businesses, organizations and brands can order customized apparel for their events and businesses. "I want to give the opportunity for other brands, businesses and local companies to use me as their person to print for their clothing," Pearcey said. Pearcey added that through Red Tag Collabs and Bxactiv, he wants to help the Lincoln community. "We want to be part of the community to where we have the opportunity to donate (shirts) here and there to the community," Pearcey said. "I want to have genuine connections with people (from Lincoln)."
