Sharon Patricia Harness 3/6/1947 - 9/28/2022

Sharon Patricia Harness, 75, sadly left us on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 after a brief illness. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 6, 1947, Sharon was raised in Southern California where she attended school and graduated from Montclair High School in 1965. She later moved to Lincoln where she raised her only son and started as a volunteer at the Lincoln Area Community Center and later became the Executive Director in 1982. Sharon lived out the rest of her life in Lincoln where she loved the community and will be dearly missed. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents: William Francis Hennessey Sr. and Mary Lucille Hennessey and her brothers: William Hennessey Jr., Darrell Harmon, and Harley Harmon. Sharon is survived by her son Roger Harness and his wife, Teri Harness, brother, Tim Harmon and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Memorial services will be held at Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 am. There will be a reception immediately following the service.
