Lindsay Joan Hamilton 11/3/1956 - 9/19/2022

On September 19th, 2022, Lindsay Hamilton suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Cause of death is still unknown, but the preliminary autopsy shows signs of a peaceful passing. She is survived by her daughter Heather, son Troy, son In-Law Michael and 3 grandchildren: Lily, Daniel and Juliet, and hundreds of friends and plant lovers. &emsp;&emsp; Lindsay was born November 3rd in Omaha, Nebraska to Ed and Terry Hamilton. She was the oldest sister to 3 other siblings: Leslie Peck (Jim), Ian Hamilton (Kim) and Doug Hamilton (Dori). She graduated from Chico State in 1981. She married Stu Douglass in 1984, gave birth to Heather in 1988, Troy in 1992 and became a grandmother in 2015.&emsp;&emsp; Besides her children and grandchildren, Lindsay's great loves were her garden, her friends, and her faith. Her love of the outdoors grew into a beautiful business called Bloom Where You're Planted. She especially loved flower farming and selling organic, locally sourced bouquets. Her dear friends are too many to count! Lindsay was able to find kindred spirits in any setting. Her many adventures and loyalty lasted throughout her life. Finally, Lindsay had a deep love for the Lord. She was always dedicated to her relationship with God, doing Bible studies and praying in community. Despite the many trials and challenges that God allowed into her life, she never stopped pursuing the One who loved her best. &emsp;&emsp; Please join us for celebration of the beautiful life of Lindsay Joan Hamilton.
