All-star lineup to pay tribute to 'The Band' in Auburn

Get ready for an incredible show this Saturday, Jan. 28, at Keep Smilin's Foothill Fillmore at the Odd Fellows Lodge, featuring a tribute to The Band. An all-star cast of musicians, led by the incredible Lebo Lebowitz (Jack Johnson Band, ALO) and featuring Elliot Peck (Phil Lesh and Friends, Midnight North), Mookie Siegel (New Riders of the Purple Sage, Moonalice), Ezra Lipp (Phil & Friends, Mars Hotel, ALO) will come together to celebrate the music of the legendary "The Band." Get ready to hear hits like "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down," "The Weight" and "Cripple Creek" as well as other classics. Also, this band will play another set of classic songs covering a variety of favorites from the likes of Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Lucinda Williams, Van Morrison, Beatles and more. It is always different, but it is also always fun and gets one on the dance floor. Opening the show will be string phenom Kyle Ledson with a special acoustic set from traditional bluegrass to acoustic jam. Ledson has a couple of his own bands, as well as playing with touring acts such as the Yonder Mountain String Band. If the past is any indication, he'll join the rest of the amazing musicians for some of their sets, too. Those who have attended know Keep Smilin' Promotions puts on an incredible evening of fun. The Odd Fellows Lodge is well over 100 years old and provides for a special venue that is transformed to provide attendees a one-of-a-kind experience, blending the best in modern sound equipment and fun light shows in a funky historic setting that has led to the nickname "Foothill Fillmore." The show is 21 and over, and IDs will be checked.
