Fun at the Art League of Lincoln

The Art League of Lincoln's gallery on Jan. 14 was full with all ages on a rainy day. It was great to see the fun kids had showing their art and the supportive parents proud of their kids! The gallery was full of life and everyone had fun! Families and students were at the inaugural "Family Reception" at the Art League's "Lincoln Youth Exhibit." The exhibit features the work of students from Twelve Bridges Elementary, Lincoln High School, The Foundry, and the Art League of Lincoln's Kids Art Camp. "Some of the student artists had listed their work for sale," Art League of Lincoln President Gia McNutt said, "and several pieces sold, which is encouragement for these young artists. We encourage families to come out for another family reception on Saturday, Feb. 11 for the 'Through a Child's Eyes' exhibit featuring children's books by prominent local author/illustrators and other child-inspired art.
