Folsom incident report: Garage burglaries, EBT fraud, identity theft

Those appearing in the following crime report have been arrested on suspicion of the crime indicated and presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Information is public record, furnished by the Folsom Police Department in public record form. March 5 Avinash Sund, 33, of Folsom was arrested at 6:20 p.m. on suspicion of violating a court order in the 100 block of Sedgeford Way. Truc Vuong, 43, of Folsom was arrested at 4:20 p.m. on suspicion of an outstanding warrant in the 400 block of Seaton Drive. Shoplifting was reported at 2 p.m. in the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard after two unknown suspects reportedly stole $96 worth of merchandise from a store. Chad Grayson, 36, of Folsom was arrested at 12:10 p.m. on suspicion of an outstanding warrant in the 400 block of Stafford Street. March 6 A theft was reported at 4:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Pique Loop. Unknown suspect(s) reportedly stole $2,000 worth of tools after forcing entry into a garage. A burglary was reported at 3:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Pique Loop. Unknown suspect(s) reportedly stole a key cutter, tools and blank keys after forcing entry into a garage on March 3. A burglary was reported at 12 p.m. in the 1700 block of Creekside Drive. Unknown suspect(s) stole $5,000 worth of power tools from a garage between Feb. 24 and March 3. Christopher Lonero, 35, of Orangevale was arrested at 1:45 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher in the 100 block of Diggins Drive. March 7 Shoplifting was reported at 11:55 p.m. in the 1000 block of Riley Street after an unknown suspect reportedly stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from a store. Frank Swan, 36, of Sacramento was arrested at 5 p.m. on suspicion of burglary, grand theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest in the 400 block of Blue Ravine Road. Abram Sassenberg, 42, of Placerville was arrested at 3:05 p.m. on suspicion of meth possession, paraphernalia possession and an outstanding warrant in the 9400 block of Greenback Lane. Fraud was reported at 2:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Crow Canyon Drive. Unknown suspect(s) reportedly fraudulently opened credit card accounts. Burglary was reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Broadstone Parkway after two unknown suspects reportedly broke into mailboxes and entered a building on March 5. A theft was reported at 1:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of Creekside Drive. Unknown suspect(s) reportedly stole a wallet and fraudulently used the credit cards. Eshaya Eshaya, 58, of Folsom was cited at 1:05 p.m. on suspicion of possession of burglary tools in the 2600 block of E Bidwell Street. March 8 Shoplifting was reported at 6:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of Folsom Boulevard after two unknown suspects reportedly stole multiple clothing items, estimated at $1,000, from a store. A burglary was reported at 12:35 p.m. in the 1500 block of Iron Point Road after a wallet was stolen from an unlocked residence. Fraud was reported at 11:10 a.m. in the 3300 block of Auburn Leaf Way after $1,500 was withdrawn from an EBT card on Feb. 2. Fraud was reported at 9:20 a.m. in the 100 block of Healthy Way after a wallet was stolen from a locker and the credit cards were later fraudulently used. Nathan Griggs, 39, of Sacramento was arrested at 2:40 a.m. on suspicion of an outstanding warrant in the 1600 block of Creekside Drive. March 9 A theft was reported at 6:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Southwood Drive after a package containing medications was stolen. A theft was reported at 3:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of Creekside Drive after $200 was stolen from a dresser drawer. Fraud was reported at 3:35 p.m. in the 200 block of Leafwood Way after unknown suspect(s) reportedly obtained $3,400 in Walmart gift cards. Fraud was reported at 8:50 a.m. in the 300 block of Tobrurry Way after a credit card was stolen from a cluster mailbox and later fraudulently used. Kelly Jones, 41, of Sacramento was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more in the area of Folsom Boulevard and Blue Ravine Road. March 10 A burglary was reported at 9:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Haskins Court after $13,000 worth of silver utensils, jewelry and glass figurines were stolen from a residence. Amanda Phillips, 40, of Sacramento was arrested at 5 p.m. on suspicion of identity theft, meth possession and parole violation. Kyllie Lawson, 26, of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of identity theft and providing false identification to an officer. The arrests took place in the 2700 block of E Bidwell Street. Shoplifting was reported at 2 p.m. in the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard after two unknown suspects reportedly stole 40 pairs of sunglasses from a store. A theft was reported at 11:50 a.m. in the 1600 block of Iron Point Road after a bicycle was stolen. A burglary was reported at 11:05 a.m. in the 1000 block of Folsom Ranch Drive after a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Credit cards were later fraudulently used. March 11 A stolen Kia Optima was reported as recovered at 4 p.m. in the 200 block of Iron Point Road. A theft was reported at 3:55 p.m. in the 300 block of Palladio Way after an unknown suspect stole three wallets from an employee breakroom.
