Folsom incident report: Armed robbery, stolen jackets, brass knuckles possession

Those appearing in the following crime report have been arrested on suspicion of the crime indicated and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. April 19 James Russell, 49, of North Highlands was cited at 7 p.m. on suspicion of meth possession in the 800 block of E Bidwell Street. Shoplifting was reported at 5:50 p.m. in the 400 block of Palladio Parkway after an unknown suspect stole sunglasses from a store. Mail theft was reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Heiler Way after an unknown suspect obtained a money order from a mailbox and attempted to cash it on or after March 16. A robbery was reported at 11:20 a.m. in the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard after an unknown suspect stole 27 pairs of sunglasses and pointed a gun at security while leaving the store. April 20 John Khoshcar, 59, of Rescue was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher in the 500 block of E Bidwell Street. Shoplifting was reported at 4:25 p.m. in the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard after two suspects stole bags with an unknown amount of merchandise from a store. Jay Masters, 36, of Folsom was cited at 2 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher in the area of Folsom-Auburn Road and Hillswood Drive. Vandalism was reported at 12:55 a.m. in the 100 block of Farham Drive after a vehicle window was shattered. Barbara Stofflet, 31, of Folsom was cited at 12:10 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher in the area of Reading and Mormon streets. April 21 David Andersen, 53, of Sacramento was arrested at 11:25 a.m. on suspicion of an outstanding warrant in the 13400 block of Folsom Boulevard. A robbery was reported at 4:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of E Bidwell Street after an unknown suspect handed a bank teller a note demanding money. The teller provided the funds and the suspect fled. A burglary was reported at 10:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Riley Street after a cell phone was stolen out of a locker. Vandalism was reported at 8:45 a.m. in the 4700 block of Villa Verde Drive after $1,450 worth of damage was caused at a construction site. April 22 Tyler Brady, 28, of Folsom was arrested at 8:05 p.m. on suspicion of domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm in the 400 block of Stafford Street. Theft was reported at 5:30 p.m. in the 500 block of E Bidwell Street after a license plate was stolen from a vehicle. Shoplifting was reported at 4:55 p.m. in the 2400 block of Iron Point Road. Unknown suspect(s) reportedly stole 30 jackets from a store. Reginald Shanks, 48, of Sacramento was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on suspicion of an outstanding warrant. Amanda Steeplefleger, 40, of Oakdale and Andrew Caldwell, 45, of Sacramento were cited on suspicion of petty theft. The arrest and citations took place in the area of Alder Creek Parkway and Rustic Ridge Drive. A theft was reported at 2:15 p.m. in the 800 block of E Bidwell Street after locks were cut from lockers and $100 was stolen from one locker and $200 was stolen from another. Shoplifting was reported at 12:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Folsom Boulevard after $700 worth of merchandise was stolen from a store. A burglary was reported at 10:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of E Natoma Street after credit cards were stolen from a vehicle on April 20. The cards were later fraudulently used. Shoplifting was reported at 10:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of E Bidwell Street after an unknown suspect reportedly stole two pairs of shoes, shirts and a Yeti bucket from a store. April 23 Tyler Walker, 34, of Redding was cited at 11:45 p.m. on suspicion of meth possession and possession of brass knuckles in the area of Folsom Boulevard and Natoma Street. Leslie Williams, 40, of Rancho Cordova was arrested at 6:30 p.m. on suspicion of parole violation in the 400 block of Blue Ravine Road. Chandra Kepler, 41, of Sacramento was cited at 1:50 a.m. on suspicion of an outstanding warrant. John Flynn, 44, of Sacramento was cited on suspicion of paraphernalia possession in the area of Folsom Boulevard and Blue Ravine Road.
