Rocklin incident report: DUI collision, brandishing a knife, 2 vehicle break-ins

The Rocklin Police Department publishes a weekly crime report, here are the published incidents from October 2-8. Oct. 8 At 1:30 a.m., Rocklin Police responded to a solo vehicle collision on the 2200 block of Abby Road. When officers arrived and contacted the driver, Ionita Aldea, 44, of Rocklin, they observed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication. After an investigation, officers arrested Aldea and booked him into the South Placer Jail. At 3:02 p.m., Rocklin officers responded to the 3000 block of Argonaut Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Upon further investigation, officers discovered one subject had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The subject was arrested and booked at South Placer Jail for their warrant. At 9:15 p.m., Rocklin Police responded to a report of a male acting out of control on the 1000 block of Sunset Boulevard. Officers located the subject, Scott Hill, 43, of Sacramento and discovered Hill was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of narcotics. Hill was arrested and booked into the South Placer County Jail. Oct. 5 At about 3:25 p.m., Rocklin Police responded to a report that a female suspect, Elizabeth Gyarmati, 51, of Rocklin brandished a knife at a group of hotel guests on the 4400 block of Rocklin Road. Officers arrived and located Gyarmati. The investigation revealed Gyarmati brandished the knife at other guests and was intoxicated. Gyarmati was arrest and booked into the South Placer Jail. Oct. 3 Between 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., an unidentified suspect broke into a vehicle on the 2200 block of Ranch View Drive and stole property. Between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., an unknown suspect broke into the victim's vehicle and stole property on the 4400 block of Pebble Beach Road. Aug. 16 At about 4:20 p.m., Rocklin Police responded to a retail store on the 6600 block of Lonetree Boulevard for a report that more than $3,200 worth of goods was stolen, by an unknown suspect using a fraudulent ID. The case is being investigated. Domestic battery/violence incidents Rocklin Police responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers contacted both parties and through their investigation identified the suspect. The suspect was arrested and transported to the South Placer County Jail.
