Rocklin incident report: Fentanyl for sale, stopping grand theft in process, 5 DUI arrests

Oct. 23 Richard Biamonte, 49, was arrested at 5:03 p.m. on suspicion of false imprisonment, domestic violence, threatening a crime with intent to terrorize and first degree burglary on the 4800 block of Granite Drive. Oct. 22 Holly Elizabeth Blomquist, 49, was arrested at 2:22 p.m. on suspicion of assault of a police officer and drunk and disorderly conduct on the 2200 block of Sunset Boulevard. Lamar Hudson Avery, 35, was arrested at 7:06 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol on the 4500 block of Rocklin Road. Austin Michael Johnson, 31, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit in Rocklin. Oct. 21 Lidiya Kravchuk, 49, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on Rocklin Road at Sierra College Boulevard. Oct. 20 Pablo Alexiz Vannguyen, 24, was taken into custody at 12 p.m. for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on the 1200 block of Meridian Way. Chelsea Thompson, 31, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. on suspicion of domestic abuse and child abuse on the 5400 block of Ruhkala Road. Oct. 19 Rocklin Police Department dispatch was contacted by Target Loss Prevention regarding a known shoplifter inside the business loading a shopping cart with high value. Loss Prevention informed Rocklin Police Department that, in the past, the suspect pushed a shopping cart out of a fire exit. Rocklin dispatch gave this information to members of the Rocklin PD Community Oriented Policing and Problem-Solving (COPPS) team. COPPS officers arrived and took up positions around Target. Soon after, the suspect pushed a shopping cart loaded with merchandise out of a fire exit, as he had reportedly done before. Upon seeing officers waiting, the suspect began to walk away from the shopping cart and was detained seconds later without incident. Lance Murphy, 58, of Sacramento was arrested for grand theft, and three misdemeanor warrants out of Placer County. Jacquelyn Mae Hooper, 40, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. on suspicion of domestic abuse on the 5100 block of Odin Court. Luis Antonio Alvarez, 35, was arrested at 7:16 p.m. on suspicion of drunk and disorderly conduct on the 2100 block of Sunset Boulevard. Oct. 18 James Marshall Cowan, 57, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. on suspicion of motor vehicle theft, being in possession of a stolen vehicle and unlawful possession of tear gas on southbound Highway 65 at eastbound Interstate 80. Oct. 16 Anthony Michael Deponzi, 28, was taken into custody at 1:41 p.m. for one outstanding felony warrant and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants on the 5100 block of Commons Drive. Oct. 15 Tyler Carmack Silva, 31, was arrested at 8:49 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on the 4800 block of Third Street. Oct. 14 Eric Daniel Valenzuela, 31, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving without an interlock device and for driving while license was suspended for a previous DUI on Sunset Boulevard at Stanford Ranch Road. Oct. 13 Joshua Duran, 40, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. on suspicion of possession of unlawful paraphernalia and for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants on the 5100 block of Commons Drive. Sherinda Elizabeth Owens, 34, was taken into custody at 5:28 p.m. for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants on the 5100 block of Commons Drive. Oct. 12 Semaje Kapri Tayor, 20, was taken into custody at 11:38 a.m. for an outstanding felony warrant on Crossings Drive at Sierra College Boulevard. Oct. 11 Officers were investigating a suspicious person wearing a mask and loitering in the front of a business at the 2200 block of Sunset Boulevard early Tuesday morning. Narcotics were observed in plain view in one of their vehicles, and a K-9 further alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search was conducted, and a large amount of narcotics was recovered in a hidden container. In total, more than 140 grams of suspected fentanyl was recovered. Curtis Cloutier, 43, of Magalia was arrested for various charges, including possession for sale of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances and narcotic paraphernalia. Christopher Robert Stevenson, 38, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. on suspicion of domestic abuse on the 5600 block of Montclair Circle. David Jacob Duncan, 24, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. on suspicion of possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and for outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants on the 4300 block of Dominguez Road. Bret Hans Thornton, 41, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. on suspicion of burglary from a motor vehicle on the 6600 block of Lonetree Boulevard. Andrew Anthony Caquias, 25, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. on suspicion of domestic abuse and damaging/destroying a wireless communication device on the 1000 block of Sagittaria Circle.
