Clarence Norman Sanderson 11/30/1935-12/12/2023

Clarence Norman Sanderson passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023 and is now with the Lord. He was born in Sacramento, California on November 30, 1935 to Norman and Lena (Colburg) Sanderson. He grew up in Penryn with his four siblings: Louise, George, Lucille and John. He graduated from Placer High School (1953). He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He loved telling stories of his Navy days. His friends fondly called him "Red" or "Sandy". He married Billie (Brown) Sanderson in 1975. They were happily married for 48 years. They settled in Loomis, California to raise their family. They had two sons; Dan and Chris. Clarence's Christian faith was an important part of his life. He always made sure his family attended church each Sunday, and he constantly prayed with his boys. He owned a drywall business for 40 years in the local area. During his retirement years, he enjoyed traveling in an RV all over the U.S. with Billie. He is survived by his wife, Billie Sanderson, sister Lucille Sanderson, brother John Sanderson, sons Dan (Nicole) and Chris (Katie), and five grandsons; Isaac, Jacob, Caleb, Gabriel and Riley. He will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held at Lassila Funeral Home (Auburn, CA) on January 5th, 2024 at 10 a.m. followed by a reception.
