Roseville Police's Operation Grinch team makes multiple arrests for thefts during holidays

The Roseville Police Department's Operation Grinch Team arrested three involved in retail thefts during the holidays, according to Roseville Police. Operation Grinch and Target at 10451 Fairway Drive partnered on Dec. 16 to observe two people seen by loss prevention who were suspected of stealing. According to police, the two filled storage bins with merchandise and left but, "Our Operation Grinch Team, however, was prepared to take action and arrested the suspects." Later that evening, Operation Grinch officers came across a vehicle at the Galleria Mall fleeing with items stolen from Lululemon. "In his rush to leave, the suspect left behind his partner in crime," Roseville Police said. Officers pursued the vehicle while the driver began tossing the stolen goods on the highway. The pursuit concluded when the driver crashed on the shoulder of Highway 65 near Pleasant Grove and was arrested. In addition to these cases, Operation Grinch has arrested others during the holiday season. On Dec. 15, two were arrested for stolen vehicles, warrants and parole holds; two were arrested for theft, conspiracy and drug offenses; one was arrested for theft; and one was arrested for theft and had a warrant. On Dec. 16, two were arrested for theft, conspiracy, drug offenses, vehicle pursuit and had warrants; two were arrested for theft, collaboration and drug offenses; one was arrested for a drug offense; one was arrested for vehicle and weapons offenses; one was arrested for weapons and obstruction offenses; one was arrested for a warrant; and two were arrested for vehicle and drug offenses with warrants.
