Folsom Cordova Unified School District's new websites launch May 3

The Folsom Cordova Unified School District announced it is rebuilding its main website and all individual school websites. FCUSD will conduct a planned website launch Friday, May 3. "Staff is working hard behind the scenes to upload and organize content," staff said in a statement. Once online, the website work will continue through the end of the school year and over the summer. During the May 3 launch, the new websites will be temporarily unavailable during the initial phase, officials said. The district anticipates the downtime will take "a few" hours. All school and district emails, phone lines and emergency communications will be operational, authorities said. "While we're enthusiastic about the launch, we want to be transparent about the process: We recognize that creating a great online experience over 37 websites takes time. As such, we ask for your patience and understanding as staff at the District and school offices continue to refine and improve the sites." The FCUSD goal is to provide citizens with an intuitive, user-friendly website experience to find important information. "Throughout this journey, your feedback will be invaluable in shaping the evolution of our websites," officials said in a statement on Facebook. "Stay tuned for more! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve all FCUSD websites."
