Auburn incident report: Resisting arrest resulting in officer injury and 4 DUIs

April 26 Greg Todd Jackson, 54, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on Auburn Ravine Road at Elm Avenue. April 25 Maria John, 34, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and causing bodily injury, causing likely bodily injury to police officer and firefighter by assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm, evading a peace officer and being a wrong-way driver on Magnolia Avenue and Cherry Avenue. Jason David Wright, 45, was arrested at 12:47 p.m. on suspicion of resisting a peace officer and for an outstanding felony warrant on the 1200 block of High Street. April 24 Luke William Peabody, 22, was arrested at 1:14 p.m. for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on the 10900 block of Blocker Drive. April 21 Alfonso Benitezquintana, 56, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit, driving while license is suspended for a prior DUI and for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on Highway 49 at Locksley Lane. April 20 Nicholas Fowler, 32, was arrested at 7:44 p.m. on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit on Auburn Folsom Road at Herdal Drive. April 19 Auburn Police Department officers responded to a disturbance involving an individual who had been ejected from a local bar for disruptive behavior. The individual, identified as Tyson Breidenbach of Sacramento, was reported to have possibly damaged property while walking along Lincoln Way. Upon contact, Breidenbach initially cooperated with officers but subsequently began to resist arrest. To ensure the safety of all involved, officers utilized the WRAP restraint system, a device designed to prevent individual and law enforcement personnel injuries. During the altercation, one officer sustained minor abrasions to his hands. Breidenbach was arrested for resisting arrest and booked into the Placer County Jail. April 18 Tizok Francisco Moncivaiz, 47, was arrested at 7:56 a.m. on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender at Ashford Park. April 17 Daniel Merritt Wood, 57, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. on suspicion of assault with a firearm on the 1200 block of Lincoln Way. April 16 Trevor Matthew Laspina, 51, was arrested at 4:32 p.m. on suspicion of disorderly conduct while being under the influence of drugs on the 100 block of Grass Valley Highway. John Michael Robbins Jr., 33, was arrested at 9:51 a.m. on suspicion of drunk and disorderly conduct on the 300 block of Elm Avenue. April 15 Noah Colquhoun Francis, 28, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, violating probation, resisting a peace officer, child abuse and aggravated obstruction of an executive officer on Lincoln Way and Oakwood Drive.
