Dennis Clifford 6/22/1942 - 7/9/2024

Dennis was born in Sacramento and married his high school sweetheart, JoAn, in 1961. Together they had five children, Bob, Shara, Kelly, Dan, and Paul, 14 grandkids, and 15 great grandchildren. Dennis lived in Auburn for 35 years, had an insurance agency, served on the school board of Bowman School, and wrote a column for the Auburn Journal for many years. The Clifford's later moved to Foresthill, where they lived for many years, before moving to New Mexico. They later returned to California and retired in Walnut Grove. Kids were always important to Dennis, and he loved volunteering to help with baseball and swim team, or taking the family on exciting camping adventures. He was always great at making the family laugh and loved to cook, barbecue, and have long philosophical conversations. He also loved to fish, but rarely got the chance to go fishing with all of the children's events. Dennis will be in our hearts forever, always remembered for his warmth, love, and service.
