Roseville wine lounge announces it's closing

A Roseville wine lounge has announced it is closing its doors, effective immediately. Platinum Wine Lounge at 9050 Fairway Drive made the announcement on social media last week. The owners of the business said in a Facebook post, "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our Platinum Wine Lounge. After much consideration and sleepless nights, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors, effective immediately." The Platinum Wine Lounge opened for business on Oct. 10, 2019. Owners said they could not have imagined the roller coaster that ensued for the next five years, but after many conversations and contemplation, they opted not to renew their lease for another five years. "We have cherished every moment spent sharing our passion for wine and food with you. Our staff is now a family, which makes the decision that much harder. Your support and loyalty have meant the world to us, and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful community that has grown around our wine bar," continued the Facebook post. Many people expressed sadness on the Facebook post. One person summed up the feelings of many patrons by writing, "Such a bright spot in Roseville, such a classy joint - you all will be missed so very much."
