Paul Sweet 1/31/1954 - 8/25/2024

On August 25, 2024, Paul Sweet passed away after a 4+ year battle with cancer in Auburn, California. He was 70 years old. Paul was born in 1954 in Santa Monica, California to Lesley and Frances Sweet, the youngest of four children. When he was 18 years old he met his future wife who was 16 years old. At the time of his death, they had been married for 46 years, together for 51 years. Paul is survived by his wife, Tina, his son Steven, his sister, Roberta Metzner (Don), his brother, Kenneth (Margie), his sister, Linda Chappell (Art) seven nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and even more great-grand-nieces and nephews, and his two Pugs, Lili and Rosie. Paul was a true renaissance man of many extraordinary talents. A talented chef, a master craftsman in furniture making, wrought iron, and design in general. Paul and Tina had many adventures through the years, riding motorcycles all over California, camping with friends, just enjoying life with each other. He will be missed by his friends and family and loved forever. Services to be held October 12, 2024 at Lassila Funeral Chapel at 551 Grass Valley Hwy, Auburn, CA at 1:00 with a reception to follow immediately after at the same location.
