John J. Quigley 4/19/1938 - 10/8/2024

John J. Quigley passed away October 8, 2024 at the age of 86, of complications from Parkinson's disease. Born and raised in Redwood City, CA, he graduated from Menlo College and the University of California, Berkeley where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. After serving in the Army, John earned an MBA at San Jose State University. John served as Auditor Controller of the Golden Gate Bridge District. He and his wife, Kathleen, lived in Marin County 37 years. In 2001, they moved to Sun City Roseville and later Sun City Lincoln Hills to be near their daughters and grandchildren. While living in Sun City Roseville, John served as treasurer on the SCR Board of Directors. John will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, daughters, Susan Wallace and Carole Geiger. He especially adored his grandchildren, Kalie Geiger, Mitchell and Hanna Wallace and his great-grandson, Carter Wallace. He and his wife, Kathleen, enjoyed travel, sports and time spent with family and friends. John was treasurer of the Lincoln Rotary Club and a vestry member at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Rocklin. He was an avid sports fan: 49ers, SF Giants, Warriors, Sacramento Kings and Cal Bears. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1 p.m. at St. Augustine Episcopal Church. 1800 Wildcat Boulevard, Rocklin, CA 95765.
