Alan Lyle Baumgamer 9/2/1955 - 12/23/2024

Alan lived in Foresthill, California for the past 27 years. He was 71 years old when he peacefully passed away at Auburn Ravine Terrace, on December 23, 2024. Alan had a keen interest in cars. In his younger days, he loved muscle cars and owned and built many sought after cars. He enjoyed working on cars and pushing them to their maximum performance. He collected books and magazines about classic cars, and auto mechanics. He also liked watching Nascar racing. He grew up in Newcastle, California, son of Elbert Hayes Baumgarner, and Nell Kathleen Baumgarner, with one sister Paula, and three brothers Phil, Perry, and Guy. He liked spending time with his brothers throughout his life; along with his uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. In the last moments of his life, he was surrounded by his sister Paula Koeberlein, brother in-law Val Koeberlein, and his daughter Andrea Baumgarner. He will be missed by his many friends as well. Alan Baumgarner remains will be placed at Auburn Public Cemetery at a future date, in the Baumgarner family plot site.
