Folsom Police log: Stolen dash cam, fraud, warrants

March 24 Anthony Sommers, 36, of Sacramento was contacted during a traffic stop at Blue Ravine Rd./Russi Rd at 4:36 p.m. He was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant and booked into Sacramento County Jail. Shoplifting, 2700 Block E Bidwell St. On March 22, unknown suspect entered the store and stole $1,000 worth of eye care products. Residential Burglary, 2300 Block Iron Point Rd. Unknown suspect(s) stole e-bike from open garage. Tyler Brady, 30, of Folsom was contacted in the 600 block of E. Bidwell St and issued a citation on suspicion of trespassing and outstanding warrants. March 23 Shoplifting, 1800 Block Prairie City Rd. Unknown suspect stole approximately $400 worth of groceries. Traffic Collision, Riley St/Scott St. Unknown vehicle ran red light, causing bicyclist to crash. Overdose, 2100 Block Shady Creek Rd. Suspected overdose at the location. Nacan administered successfully and the subject was transported to hospital. Frank Varbel, 54, of Cameron Park was contacted at American River Canyon Dr/Cascade Falls at 1:29 a.m. and arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked at Sacramento County Jail. March 22Grand Theft, 200 Block Palladio Pkwy. Unknown suspect(s) stole a spare wheel cover from the vehicle. Nina Saghebi, 24, of Folsom was contacted in the 1000 block of Riley St. at 3:37 p.m. and issued a citation on suspicion of shoplifting. Arend Wheeler, 45, of Sacramento and Susan Star, 60, of Rescue were contacted during a traffic stop in the 200 block of Iron Point Rd. at 2:54 a.m. Wheeler was issued a citation on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Star was issued a citation on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. March 21 Frank Escobar, 39, of Folsom was contacted during a traffic stop at Willow Creek Dr/McFarland Dr at 11:41 p.m. Arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant and booked at El Dorado County Jail. Randle Warren, 67, of Rio Linda was contacted during a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Iron Point Rd at 5:21 p.m. and issued a citation on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Shoplifting, 13000 Block Folsom Blvd. Two unknown suspects entered the store and stole an unknown amount of clothing. Vehicle Burglary, 800 Block Halidon Wy. Unknown suspect(s) stole a dash cam from a vehicle. March 20Erron Pool, 49, of Folsom was contacted in the 14700 block of Mangini Ranch Pkwy at 10:08 p.m. and arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. He was booked at Sacramento County Jail. Javon Moody, 40, of Folsom was contacted in the 300 block of Plaza Dr. and issued a citation on suspicion of outstanding warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. Waylon Morrison, 22, of Folsom was contacted in the 400 block of Blue Ravine Rd and issued a citation on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia. Robbery, 1000 Block Riley St. Unknown suspect placed fake jewelry in pocket of victim and stole their wallet. Residential Burglary, 100 Block Lembi Dr. Unknown suspect entered residence through an open garage and fled when they encountered the resident. Later determined that the suspect stole tools from the garage. March 19Waylon Morrison, 22, of Folsom was contacted in the 700 block of Sutter St. and issued a citation on suspicion of an outstanding warrant. Shoplifting, 1000 Block Riley St. Unknown suspect stole approximately $800 worth of Pokémon cards from the store. David Gladko, 27, of Sacramento was contacted during a traffic stop at Filbert Ave/Central Ave at 2:06 p.m. He was issued a citation for an outstanding warrant. Forgery/Fraud, 100 Block Montrose Ct. Unknown suspect(s) fraudulently obtained $20,000 by depositing a fake deposit into the victim's account and then asking for the money back in cash.
