Browning ready, excited for camps this weekend

It's that time of year again for the football camps to come back to town. Folsom High graduate and current Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jack Browning will be hosting his Sac Town 10 camp for the third straight year this Friday at 10 a.m. at Vista del Lago High School. This camp is invitation only and is for selected high school quarterbacks from the Sacramento area. The Sacramento area quarterbacks invited to the Sac Town 10 camp include Folsom High's quarterbacks Ryder Lyons, Brody Rudnicki, Nick Johnson, Matteo Gonzalez and Carson Murphy. The other quarterbacks include Rocklin's Reeve Slone, West Park's Jaden Jackson, Roseville's Mason Susnara, Casa Roble's Aidan Lopez, Sac High's Laron James-Radcliffe, Christian Brothers' Deakon Holden, Jesuit's Teddy Rios, Edison's Devin Rasmussen and St. Mary's Jayden Galvan. On Saturday, Browning and his Bulldog brothers Josiah Deguara and Jonah Williams, who play for the Arizona Cardinals, will be hosting the third annual Bulldogs Back Home football camp at 10 a.m. at Vista del Lago High School. Registration for this camp opens at 9:30 a.m. and the camp is open to boys and girls in grades three through eight. This camp runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. "I think I would've always been a hard worker, but I don't think I would've been able to have the type of career I've had if I didn't have the fortune of growing up in Folsom, surround by great people," Browning said. "So I think the least I can do is come back for a few days and put on some free camps to try to give back. "I really enjoy the camps because it's fun to get back around former teammates that I don't always get to see and bring them back to football. It's also fun to see the next generation of football players coming up through the ranks and get to interact with them so they can put a face to the name."
