The Silver Screen Classic Movie Series continues Saturday, Aug. 2. Some women can say no. Some just can't. Some guys wait, others insist. And in Oklahoma, farmers and cowmen are having trouble. How to solve these problems? Easy! Just sing! Dance! And sing some more! This is a funny romantic musical – racy and sometimes evil. This was the first Broadway musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. A box office hit, it ran for an unprecedented 2,212 performances and won them a special Pulitzer Prize.
