Sierra Community Medical Foundation hosts back-to-school health festival in Roseville

The Sierra Community Medical Foundation will present the third annual Healthy Families Fitness Festival on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. @the Grounds, 700 Event Center Drive, in Roseville. The free community event aims to help families prepare for the back-to-school season while promoting health and wellness. Attendees can receive free backpack and school supply giveaways, complimentary health screenings and participate in interactive sports clinics and fitness demonstrations. The festival also features wellness vendors and prizes throughout the day. The event combines education with entertainment, offering engaging activities designed for children of all ages, from interactive fitness challenges to demonstrations. Major healthcare partners including Sutter Health, Mercy Medical Group and UC Davis support the festival, providing families with professional health resources and guidance.
