Studio Movie Grill offers free sensory-friendly film screenings for special needs families

Studio Movie Grill at Rocklin Commons is providing a welcoming movie experience for families with special needs children through their monthly Special Needs Screenings, featuring popular films in a modified theater environment designed to accommodate sensory sensitivities. The August lineup includes "Fantastic Four" on Aug. 2, "The Bad Guys" on Aug. 9 and Disney's "Freakier Friday" starring Lindsay Lohan on Aug. 16, all screened with lights up, volume lowered and an atmosphere where children are encouraged to move around, talk and even dance in the aisles without judgment.
