Larry Dean Bower 4/08/1934 - 7/25/2025

Larry Dean Bower, 91, of Auburn, California, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025.&emsp;&emsp; Born April 8, 1934, in Boise, Larry lived a life marked by devotion to his country, his family, his faith, and the outdoors. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1954 to 1956. A talented athlete, he pitched for the Yankees' farm team before choosing to marry the love of his life, Beverly Jean Holmes. They were married on July 27, 1957, and shared 67 years together.&emsp;&emsp; Larry worked for over 30 years with Bank of America. A devoted family man, he found great joy in spending time outdoors with his children and grandchildren, teaching them to hunt, fish, and appreciate nature.&emsp;&emsp; He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bower; daughters, Kathleen Cable (David) and Karen Bower; grandchildren, Blake Cable, Dean Cable (Stephanie), and Zachary Farr; and great-grandson, Kayden Cable.&emsp;&emsp; Larry will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
