Granville Taylor 7/14/1941 - 6/29/2025

Granville "Red" Taylor passed away on Sunday at the age of 83 years old. He was a loving father to Sarah Taylor, Bryan Taylor, and James Taylor (1967-2019), husband of 47 years to Catherine Taylor (1944-2011) and partner to Joann Belkin for 14 years and grandfather to 13 grandchildren.&emsp;&emsp; Red worked in an assembly plant for Ford Motor Company in Edison, NJ from young adulthood (age 18) until he retired at 55. He began on the assembly line and later worked jobs as a maintenance mechanic and ergonomics coordinator.&emsp;&emsp; He was skilled in carpentry, car maintenance, and home repairs. He had a gorgeous award-winning 1964 Ford Falcon that he took pride in maintaining and taking to car shows.&emsp;&emsp; His family and friends will miss him. Wherever you are, please raise a glass or enjoy some ice cream in honor of Red.
