Rose Ann Watson 9/16/1947 - 8/02/2025

Rose Ann Watson was born on September 16, 1947 and she passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025 at the age of 78 in Roseville, California. She was a loving mother, devoted daughter, sister and a caring grandmother. Rose Ann was born in Stockton but moved to Eureka, California at an early age where she attended elementary, middle and Eureka High School. Rose Ann was married to Bruce Watson and had her son Craig Watson; they left Eureka and ultimately settled in Sacramento. She attended California Sacramento State University and earned a degree in psychology. Rose Ann got divorced but would live in Sacramento for the next decade working at a number of jobs including the Sacramento Children's Home and sales positions. She then moved to Petaluma, California where she found her calling and began working as manager at a hospice thrift store. Rose Ann would consider this her passion by assisting those in need, reusing clothes and household items as well as helping those who were at the end of their life. She moved to the Roseville area when her first grandson Tyler was born to be closer to family and to assist in his upbringing. Her second grandson Nick would be born a couple years later. She also managed the Sutter Hospice Thrift Store in Roseville until her retirement. &emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp; She enjoyed spending time with family and friends who she also called her "village" of support. She traveled to Italy and Ireland and enjoyed going to the coast for shorter trips. She liked gardening and watching mystery TV and movies. She was preceded in death by her parents Florence and Maurice Goldberg, her sister Sarah Godfrey and brother in law Fil Godfrey. She is survived by her son Craig Watson, daughter-in -law Marie Watson and grandson's Tyler and Nick Watson, as well as her nephew Steve Godfrey, niece Stacey Celeste and cousins Laurie Branstetter and Charlie Allen. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 28, 2025 from 11 am - 4 pm at The Clubhouse at Woodcreek Golf Club, 5880 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd., Roseville, CA 95747.
