Roseville police log: Man revived with Narcan after suspected overdose

Editor's note: Arrest reports are released by the Roseville Police Department. Aug. 10 At 2:57 a.m., Roseville PD responded to reports of a prowler on Lyndhurst Avenue. While en route, dispatch advised a white male adult in a white shirt was banging on the victim's front door and had moved to the backyard. Upon arrival, officers saw a man with short hair climbing on the gate west of the garage door from the backyard. After identifying themselves as police and ordering him to come out, the man did not respond. Multiple units arrived, including assistance from Citrus Heights PD and Rocklin PD. Citrus Heights deployed a drone and located the suspect hiding near the southeast corner fence line. Officers entered the yard and found the man lying behind bushes, appearing to be asleep. He was later determined to be intoxicated. The suspect was transported to South Placer Jail for identification and booking. Aug. 7 At 1:01 p.m. on North Sunrise Avenue, police were dispatched to a report of an unconscious male. While en route, Roseville PD Dispatch advised it was believed to be an overdose. Narcan was being administered, and someone had begun CPR. Upon arrival, Roseville Fire and AMR had already performed life-saving measures, and the subject was conscious and breathing. He was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for further treatment. Before being transported, the subject stated he believed he had smoked a cigarette laced with fentanyl. He did not know how many cigarettes he had smoked or who had given it to him but suspected it contained drugs. Aug. 6 At 4:29 p.m. on Galleria Boulevard, the victim had securely locked their e-bike to a bicycle rack. When they returned three hours later, they discovered the battery had been stolen. The victim also noticed visible damage to the bike's chain ring, suggesting force had been used to remove the battery. The rest of the bike remained secured with the lock. Aug. 5 At 6 a.m. on Campcreek Loop, the victim received a fraudulent text message from an unknown number claiming to be from Amazon. The message included an alert and a link, which the victim clicked. More links were texted, and she clicked on several. The suspect gained access to her credit union and bank accounts, making purchases totaling $7,000, including items from Best Buy, a plane ticket and Costco. Multiple credit cards were also opened in her name and sent to her residence before being canceled. Her phone was hacked, and when her sister called, a male answered and told her not to contact police. Both banks refunded the victim, resulting in no financial loss. Aug. 4 At 7 a.m. on Torrente Drive, the victim arrived at a job site and noticed a unit of roof plywood was missing several sheets. Upon closer inspection, it was determined 60 sheets had been taken.
