Madera's Kennealy wins NAPA Auto Parts 150; 6 champions crowned in Roseville

Robbie Kennealy of Madera continued the deep tradition of first-time ARCA Menards Series West winners in Roseville, claiming his inaugural victory in the NAPA Auto Parts 150 at All American Speedway on Saturday night. Six championships were also decided in the NASCAR weekly series action. Kennealy earned his first General Tire Pole Award then fended off 2024 race winner Trevor Huddleston of Agoura Hills at the checkered flag. The victory came nearly a year after his father's sudden passing. "One year ago, this exact race is when my dad suddenly passed away. One year later, we win one of the biggest races. … That's for you, dad," Kennealy said. "It's all thanks to my Jan's Racing crew. Without Jan giving me and Kyle Keller this opportunity, we wouldn't be standing here. I drove all 150 laps the hardest I ever have in my life." Kennealy slotted up against three-time ARCA winner Tanner Reif of Henderson, Nevada, at the green flag. Reif was called for jumping the start and had to take a stop and go on the apron of the backstretch, a penalty from which he never recovered. Kennealy darted away from the field to a six-second advantage over the first 95 caution-free laps. Eric Nascimento Jr. of Manteca spun to set up a 20-lap shootout to the finish. Huddleston applied the bumper on several occasions to Kennealy, but Kennealy held the top spot. Pasadena's Andrew Chapman finished a career-best third with 11th-starting Joey Iest of Madera finishing fourth. Eric Johnson Jr. of LaCenter, Washington, rounded out the top five. In the six weekly championship finales, three champions visited Victory Lane and three champs finished in the second position. Fort Bragg's Trey Daniels drove around the outside of Loomis' Kenna Mitchell to kick off the NASCAR Berco Redwood Late Model 50-lap event. The pass proved to be decisive. Daniels charged ahead of Mitchell over the final 15 laps for his first win of the season. Mitchell settled for second place and her second consecutive track championship. Monty Tipon, Joey Kennealy and Kylie Glick rounded out the top five. Rocklin's Robby Czub won the INEX NorCal Legend Series feature and claimed a narrow Roseville championship triumph by two points over Elk Grove's Tyler Batzianis. Czub qualified second and started second in the 35-lap feature. He drove around Kai Lovell at the green flag and never relinquished the lead. A caution on lap 32 set up a three-lap dash to the finish. Czub outlasted the 20-car field for the victory. Lovell finished second, followed by 2024 NorCal champion Brandon White of Eureka, Kylie Daniels of Fort Bragg and Trey Daniels. Rocklin's Tyler Wentworth enjoyed a wire-to-wire performance in the Modified division to conclude his championship season. Andrew Peeler of Carmichael, Rio Linda's Jose Hernandez, Bud Anderson of North Highlands and Kelseyville's Ryan Southand completed the top five. Vic Theberge of Citrus Heights dominated the F4 division for the second consecutive event, taking a comfortable win in the 30-lap feature. Orangevale's John Sproule claimed second place to win the F4 division championship. His closest rival, Elverta's Ray Molina, finished third. Rookie drivers Leilani Sprenkel of Stockton and Thomas Cherry of Citrus Heights were fourth and fifth. Multiple Super Stock champion Josh Whitfield of Roseville returned to his winning ways in the 30-lap season finale. Dixon's Tim Walters pressured Whitfield throughout the event to no avail, but the second-place finish clinched the 2025 championship. Dean Wilkins finished third. Skyler Schoppe of Clovis won the 25-lap Jr. Late Model finale in a tight duel with 2025 champion Kellen Keller of Madera. Mia Wright of Sparks, Nevada, finished third. All American Speedway returns to action Oct. 18 with the A-All Mini Storage Monster Truck Bash with two shows in one day. Tickets are available at www.allamericanspeedway.com.
