Glenn Waynne Mosier 1/6/1940 - 9/1/2025

Glenn W. Mosier of Weimar, CA passed away September 1, 2025, at his home with his family at his side. He went peacefully to be home with the Lord after a brief cancer diagnosis. Glenn was born January 6, 1940, in Redding, California to Cecil and Grace Mosier. He attended Placer High School in Auburn, CA. Glenn married the love of his life, Nancy Carleen Clark on December 23, 1964, then followed their son Clark and daughter Rainie. He is survived by his wife Nancy of nearly 61 years, son Clark Mosier (Nancy), daughter Rainie Hall, grandchildren Alexis Bachman (Dane), Samantha Baldoni (Tommy), Chase Mosier (Kassidy), Scott Mosier, Riley Hall, and Spencer Hall, and great-grandchildren Francesca Baldoni, Bodie Mosier, and Lainey Bachman. Glenn was preceded in death by his brother Allan Mosier. Glenn was truly one of a kind; the kind of father and grandpa who showed his love through action. From sunup to sundown, he was always working, one of the hardest workers ever known. He was his family's Mr. Fix-It. If something was broken, he'd fix it and if it wasn't, he'd fine-tune it until it ran like new. He taught us all so much about cars. In fact, he wasn't just our family mechanic—he was the town's as owner of Glenn's Imports for many years. Everyone knew Glenn by his rugged, unpainted old-school VW Bug or his old Ford pickup he'd putter around in. If someone had car trouble, Glenn was the first to lend a hand. That was his love language, acts of service, fixing what was broken. You could find him any time of day out in one of his shops, working on a project car. But he wasn't just mechanical, he was creative, too. Always making things out of scraps, finding purpose in what others might toss away. He was wise, frugal, and deeply appreciated what he had. He taught us all to take care of the things we had, to value function over flash, and to live within our means. Glenn will be deeply missed by his loved ones, and his memories will be treasured for a lifetime. Services will be held Saturday, September 27th at 1pm at Auburn Grace, 3126 Olympic Way, Auburn, CA.
