Loomis hosts 'Taste of a Small Town' school benefit Sept. 20

Loomis will host the annual "Taste of a Small Town" benefit Saturday, September 20 at the Historic Train Depot Plaza. The non-profit Loomis Basin Education Foundation invites the public to buy tickets to the event and support local schools. The gathering features live music, family fun and games, booth vendors and fine food and drinks from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Four Corners. The entrance fee is $45 per adult 21 and over, $30 for adult designated drivers and $15 for children age 5-18. A $100 family four-pack of tickets are available, covering two adults and two children, with $15 for each additional child. Children under five are admitted free. Volunteers for the event also earn one free admission. The Loomis Train Depot is at 5775 Horseshoe Bar Road. The Loomis Basin Education Foundation works to raise funds through community involvement and provide financial support to the Loomis Union School District.
