Last weekend's visit with my children proved Sacramento Scream Park has successfully balanced genuine scares with family-friendly thrills, as evidenced by their immediate requests to return before the season ends. Beyond the haunted attractions, the park offers special events including Blood Drive of the Damned on Oct. 11 and 26, and the unique Glow Stick Fright Nights on Nov. 1 and 2, where visitors navigate the attractions in near-total darkness armed only with a single glow stick.
